Terms of Service

Effective 5 July 2026

These terms govern your use of JoeHukum, operated by Aryabhatta Labs. By using the service you agree to them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Aryabhatta Labs operates (Canada), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Private beta

JoeHukum is currently invite-only and provided for evaluation. Features may change or break, and access may be limited or withdrawn during the beta.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for the security of your Google account and for the accuracy of what you ask JoeHukum to store. Don't use the service for anything unlawful, or to access data you're not authorised to access.

What JoeHukum does and doesn't do

JoeHukum reads your Google Calendar and Gmail (read-only) to surface people, obligations and suggestions, and prepares drafts for you to review and send yourself. It never sends messages, makes changes, or transacts on your behalf.

Recommendations & links

JoeHukum may suggest products or services and link out to third-party sites. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a referral fee if you purchase — at no extra cost to you. Recommendations reflect what fits your context, not who pays us; any purchase and its terms are between you and that third party.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to your data. We keep all rights to the JoeHukum software, brand and design.

Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for actions you take based on JoeHukum's suggestions. TODO — liability cap and governing law per your jurisdiction.

Termination

You may stop using JoeHukum and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end access, especially during the beta.
